Due to the National Assembly called by the Unions to commemorate our colleagues who passed away at work in the State Archives of Arezzo, the National Archaeological Museum and its offices will be closed on Wednesday 3 October, from 12pm to 2pm.


From October 1th 2018
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday  from 8.30 am to 19.00 pm.
Monday, Saturday, first and third Sunday of every month 8.30 am to 2.00 pmSaturday it’s possible to visit the garden according to staff availability and weather conditions.

Closing days: Sunday except the first and third of every month, January 1st, May 1st, December 25th.

Last admission: 45 minutes before closing time. 

ADMISSION FEES (including visit to the Egyptian Museum)
Full rate: € 4 Concessions: € 2
•-         EU citizens between 18 and 25 years old (valid identity document needed at the entrance)
•-         under 18 years old (valid identity document needed at the entrance)
•-         EU University students of the following Departments: Archaeology and History of Art, Cultural Heritage Management, Architecture, Education, Academy of Arts (valid certificate of enrollment needed at the entrance)
•-         teachers of EU public schools (proof of position needed at the entrance)
•-         EU disabled visitors and their guest or helper
For other concessions ask at the ticket office.
Free admission for all visitors on the first Sunday of each month.

•·        press the red button at the main entrance of the Museum, after the sliding door on the right.
Wheelchairs and lift available (ask the Museum staff).
Toilets for people with disabilities are at the ground floor (ask the Museum staff).
Access for visitors on wheelchairs is through the main entrance, by a lift with tracks.
NOTICE: the access for visitors on electric wheelchairs has been temporarily moved to a secondary entrance in via della Colonna 38. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Cloakroom for bags and backpacks, bookshop, educational service, food and beverage automatic machine.
Pets are not allowed.
Pictures, taken without flash and tripod, are allowed for nonprofit use. The use of the selfie stick is not allowed.
